From idea to MVP in 6–8 weeks: our product development playbook

The most expensive software is the software nobody uses. Too many products spend six months in requirements and design, then launch to discover users wanted something different. Our approach is simple: get a real, working product in front of real users as quickly as safely possible — then improve it with evidence.

Week 1: discover and decide

We start with workshops — with the people who will actually use the product, not just the sponsors. Together we agree on the one problem the MVP must solve, the measurable outcome that defines success, and what is deliberately out of scope. The output is a short, prioritised backlog and a clickable prototype of the key flow.

Weeks 2–3: design and foundations

  • UX and UI for the core journeys, tested with a handful of users.
  • Architecture, cloud setup (AWS, Azure or GCP), CI/CD pipelines and security basics — done once, properly.
  • Data and integration spikes: if the product depends on an ERP, telematics feed or AI model, we prove the riskiest connection first.

Weeks 3–7: build in weekly sprints

We work in one-week sprints with a demo every Friday. Each demo shows working software, not slides, and the client can change priorities for the following week. AI features — LLM assistants, forecasting models, computer vision — are built alongside the app, not bolted on later.

Week 8: launch and learn

The MVP goes live to a pilot group with analytics, error monitoring and a simple feedback channel. We review usage together after two weeks and agree what to build next — based on what users actually did, not what we assumed.

What makes 6–8 weeks possible

  • Ruthless scope — one problem, one primary user, one core journey.
  • Proven building blocks — reusable modules for authentication, dashboards, maps, IoT ingestion and AI integration.
  • Small senior teams — fewer hand-offs, faster decisions.
  • Weekly client involvement — a 30-minute demo beats a 50-page status report.

You own everything

The code, designs and IP belong to you from day one. When the MVP proves itself, you can scale it with us, take it in-house, or both.
